Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
ULI historically has not prioritized racial diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). In 2020, we prioritized DEI by establishing the DEI Committee to provide guidance on our District Council programming, governance, and established a Diversity Membership Fund. This committee works collaboratively to develop policies and best practices to move ULI SF forward as an industry and an organization that promotes diversity and opportunity and safety and equity for all.
We at ULI SF are many things, including a real estate organization and a community of people who are each unique, and yet collectively do not represent the diversity of our surrounding communities. We are inviting you to work with us going forward
We partnered with the ULI Americas team on our Pathways to Inclusion program to increase participation by people of color within ULI’s membership and at the ULI Fall Meeting 2020, which will do again when the Fall Meeting returns to San Francisco in 2025. By diversifying our membership, we can better fulfill our organizations mission of creating and sustaining thriving communities.
We are listening. We are open to ideas. We want to know what you believe will move us all forward as an industry and an organization that promotes diversity and opportunity and safety and equity for all.
