ULI San Francisco, in partnership with ULI America’s UrbanPlan Program, is excited to launch a new pilot program to further incentivize members to volunteer in high school classrooms around the Bay Area. This pilot will run from February 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024 and will provide members with multiple opportunities to engage with the UrbanPlan program and be entered in a monthly raffle to win prizes.
How it Works:
Any trained UrbanPlan volunteer who spends at least three hours volunteering in person within a calendar month, in a Bay Area classroom or for a Bay Area UrbanPlan for Communities workshop, will be automatically entered into ULI SF’s monthly raffle. Every three hours spent in person in the classroom each month, will get you entered into the raffle. Thus, if you volunteer six hours in one month, you are entered twice for that month, nine hours you are entered three times for that month, etc.
At the end of every month, ULI SF staff will randomly select a winner, who can choose one of the following ULI prizes:
Consistent volunteers can be entered into the raffle every month, even if they win in earlier months. All UrbanPlan volunteer awardees will be recognized on ULI’s website and in our marketing communications.
In addition to having the opportunity to win ULI prizes monthly, we will also be recognizing those members who volunteer the most hours every semester. Individuals who volunteer the most in-person hours will be eligible to receive the “UrbanPlan Superstar” award and can choose one of the following:
Please note that prizes cannot be transferred to other ULI members and must be used by December 31st, 2024.
How to Participate:
Volunteer in ULI SF’s robust UrbanPlan program by first becoming a trained UrbanPlan volunteer. Anyone can get trained online using our on-demand courses and/or join an in-person training. To sign up for training and to learn more about UrbanPlan opportunities, please complete this form. Once trained, you will be eligible to sign up for Bay Area classrooms utilizing SignUp genius (link to sign up is provided to all trained UrbanPlan volunteers).
