As we begin our new fiscal year, ULI San Francisco is proud to announce our incoming District Council officers.

ULI SF is proud to announce that its Young Leaders Group (YLG) has raised over $22,000 dollars to provide emergency housing assistance and financial aid to low income families affected by the Sonoma County floods earlier this year during its annual event, Venture in the Vineyards.
The devastating impact of the February 2019 Sonoma County winter storms and flooding are often overlooked. At its peak, the water level of the Russian River reached 45 feet, well above the 32-foot flood level, leading to widespread damage, electrical blackouts, mudslides, fallen trees and road closures. The estimated total damage is over $155 million including the loss of hundreds of residential homes.
This is where ULI San Francisco’s YLG saw an opportunity to tie one of its most popular annual events, Venture in the Vineyards, to a charitable cause for the second consecutive year.
At this year’s Venture in the Vineyards event, ULI San Francisco’s YLG committed to donating 100% of the event’s net proceeds to the Sonoma Community Action Partnership (CAP). Moreover, the Venture in the Vineyards subcommittee leveraged this donation to raise over $10,000 from the local land use and real estate business community, and received a matching donation from Kaiser Permanente to bring the total donation to $22,000.
