Meet the NEXT Co-Chair!
Get to know some of the ULI SF members who work hard behind the scenes to develop the events and initiatives for which we're known.
ULI San Francisco continues its tradition of commemorating Women’s History Month this March. The National Women’s History Museum shares the history of this celebration, with President Carter issuing the first proclamation in 1980 to recognize the week of March 8 as Women’s History Week. This commemoration has evolved into a month-long celebration, and March 8 is recognized as International Women’s Day.
We will be exploring, highlighting, and celebrating the historical importance, achievements, and influence of women from a diversity of backgrounds on the built environment, while also acknowledging and educating ourselves and our members about both the long-term and current challenges systemic barriers women face in our industry, particularly when it comes to gender equity and parity.
Join us in reading, listening, watching, and acting so we can individually and collectively create equitable, inclusive, and safe spaces for everyone.
