ULIsf Welcomes Sam!
ULI San Francisco is excited to welcome Sam Woodburn to our District Council team as a Senior Associate.
ULIsf is pleased to announce that Sarah Sieloff has been selected for the 2016 Chamberlin Young Leader Fellowship.
This award is granted to professionals under 35 in the public or non-profit sector that showcase exceptional promise as future industry leaders. The Chamberlin Young Leaders Fellowship is made possible by Steve and Susan Chamberlain of Chamberlin Associates. The endowment, in partnership with ULI, offers to provide fellows with immersive exposure to thought leadership around planning, design, real estate, and land use. Through this program, fellows will be primed to take on future challenges in urban land use.
Sarah Sieloff has shown exemplary leadership in the non-profit sector, with specialized expertise in urban planning, community redevelopment, and land use. As Executive Director at the Center for Creative Land Recycling, Sarah has helped to put the organization on a national stage as a leader in land recycling and best practices. Sarah has shown a commitment to big picture solutions by working to integrate land recycling within the broader context of smart growth and sustainability. In September, she also completed her first Advisory Services Panel in Georgetown, South Carolina, where the city and county sought ULI’s advice on redeveloping 150 acres of industrial waterfront land that includes a recently shuttered steel mill and the Port of Georgetown. More information about the panel’s work is available here: Advisory Services Recap.
Sarah holds a B.A. in International Relations and Spanish from Eckerd College and a Master in Public Affairs along with a Certificate in Urban Policy and Planning from Princeton University. In her young career Sarah has distinguished herself with numerous accolades including a Truman Scholarship, Fulbright Fellowship, and sitting on the Eckerd College National Advisory Council. Sarah has held government positions with both the United States Agency for International Development and the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
