The millennial generation faces very different realities than their parents. From student debt to a rapidly changing job market, millennials have found themselves working in urban environments but often lacking the ability to find, let alone purchase, housing that is within or adjacent to the economic centers that offer jobs and opportunity to this burgeoning generation.

Nowhere is this problem more apparent than in the Bay Area, where the housing crisis has had a dramatic effect on not just where, but how, millennials are able to live.

Join the ULI San Francisco Young Leaders Group (YLG) for a Housing the Bay lead-up program that will dive into the millennial response to the Bay Area housing crisis. From impact investing to co-living to the YIMBY movement, millennials are finding themselves on the front lines of the crisis, offering solutions and digging into the economic realities facing the next generation. This informative breakfast program will be an engaging forum in which local leaders in these fields will dig into the pipeline of potential solutions.

This program is part of ULI SF’s Housing the Bay initiative and will culminate in our second Housing the Bay Summit on May 10th.
