The 20th Annual ULI Hines Student Competition is taking place in Oakland, and you are invited to celebrate with us! This year, students were tasked to design a mixed-use, mixed-income neighborhood that reflects the rich cultural history and diversity of Oakland and transform the site into a dynamic, regional hub with emphasis on equity, sustainability, and affordability. ULISF is hosting a reception to honor the hard work of our four finalist teams and to celebrate the winner of this year’s competition.
Join the grad students, jurors, stakeholders, and Hines representatives at Nido’s BackYard in Oakland for a reception with appetizers, drinks, and networking. The reception will follow the final presentations and jury deliberation at this spacious, outdoor plaza. Wine, beer, and appetizers are included in the price of registration.

This event requires all attendees to be fully vaccinated. Please be prepared to provide proof of vaccination. Masking will be determined by city guidelines and venue requirements. Attendees must follow rules and procedures set by the local municipalities and the venue. By registering for this event, you're agreeing to the following waiver and release:

I have carefully considered the risk involved and wait and release ULI and all its officers, directors, employees, staff, volunteers, faculty, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, injuries, or expenses that I may incur from my participation in this Event.
