ULI SF Spotlights Leaders in Honor of Women’s History Month
In recognition of Women’s History Month, ULI SF is highlighting the involvement and experiences of Savlan Hauser, Nikki Lowy, & Geeti Silwal
ULI SF is pleased to introduce its newest team member, Joy Woo. As Director, Joy oversees all local public sector initiatives, along with special district council projects and national ULI projects that support the District Council. She will also work on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Prior to joining ULI SF, Joy worked for 20 years at AECOM, including the last 7 years as associate vice president/senior strategy director for the Global Cities Initiative that focused on leading transformative programs in priority cities around the world. In the past two years, she worked with ULI Urban Infrastructure Forum founders and national ULI team to launch and establish the forum.
Joy is active in the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), in which she currently serves as a member of the national DEI task force and trustee for the SMPS Foundation. She is a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) through SMPS and a LEED AP. She recently completed Cornell University’s Diversity and Inclusion Certificate Program. Joy holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences (minor in English), both from the University of California, Davis.
As a San Francisco resident, Joy is thrilled to be a part of the ULI team to support ULI’s mission to shape the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide.
