Pride Month & Juneteenth: Read, Watch, Listen & Act with ULI SF
For Pride Month & Juneteenth, join us in recognizing and learning about Black LGBTQIA+ figures who aren’t as well-known as they should be.
Our 2021 Housing the Bay Summit was a success! With over 430 registrants, 7 sessions, and 26 speakers (including 5 mayors!) from the Bay Area and beyond, we continued to build on the momentum of our previous Summits. We are proud to say that 60% of our speakers were female and over 50% were people of color, further demonstrating our commitment to bringing a range of perspectives to this important work.
All registrants may access the recordings of our sessions through Hubilo, our virtual platform, by logging in with their email address and the password 2021.
This year, we also asked previous Housing the Bay speakers (Rebecca Center Foster, Rosalynn Hughey, Sam Ruben, Bill Witte, Gloria Bruce, David Garcia, Noni Session, and Michael Yarne) to discuss what’s happened since they first joined at a Summit and what they think we need to do next to make a difference in our housing crisis. Listen to their discussion below.
