Terezia Nemeth
Terezia Nemeth is Executive Vice President – Regional Market Director – San Francisco for Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. Ms. Nemeth has over 30 years of experience in the field including 15 years at Alexandria. In this role, she is responsible for leading and supporting the regional team in operations, capital deployment, business development, acquisition/disposition due diligence, personnel management, leasing, construction project management, tenant management and overall regional leadership.
Ms. Nemeth has previously managed the design, entitlements, and overall development process for the company’s greater ARE San Francisco Bay Area Region’s development projects including at the Mission Bay and SoMa Districts of the City of San Francisco and projects in several cities along the Peninsula. She has been instrumental in the Region’s exponential growth since 2005 when she was first hired.
Ms. Nemeth also represents the company in a number of community venues including serving on the Mission Bay Citizens Advisory Committee, the Board of Directors of the MB Transportation Management Association, and the MB Commercial Maintenance Corporation. Prior to joining Alexandria, she managed the commercial office entitlements at Mission Bay for Catellus Development Company. Ms. Nemeth has previously served as Director of Development for the UC Berkeley Global Campus at Richmond Bay. She has also served as the Director of Investment and Development for BUILD Inc. – Bridge Urban Infill Land Development – an investment initiative between BRIDGE Housing and CalPERS and as a Special Assistant Mayor Willie Brown in his Office of Economic Development.
Ms. Nemeth is a Member of Lambda Alpha International, holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from MIT, as well as a Master of Architecture and BA Architecture degree from UC Berkeley.
Merredith Treaster
Merredith is the Head of Nuveen Real Estate’s Northwest Region for the firm’s office and life science platform. She oversees transactions and asset management of a 4.5 million square foot office and life science portfolio representing $3.5 billion of value and leads a cross-sector initiative to streamline the firm’s governance, sustainability and asset management directives.
Previously, she opened the West Coast office for The John Buck Company where she was responsible for recruiting and leading a team identifying new investment opportunities to expand the region. She also led the development of Park Tower, a 750,00 square foot building in San Francisco, CA, which successfully pre-leased to Facebook prior to delivery.
Prior to that role, Merredith spent 9 years at Hines managing the development of Salesforce Tower in San Francisco, CA and was central to establishing Facebook as the anchor tenant. Now the tallest office building west of Chicago, it was fully leased 6 months before delivery. During her tenure there, she contributed to the development, acquisition and leasing of more than 3 million square feet of commercial real estate representing more than $1.5 billion in value.
Before Hines, she was an acquisitions associate at Tishman Speyer and her responsibilities were expanded to include project management for Infinity Towers, a 640-unit, residential San Francisco high rise. Merredith began her career in CBRE’s rotational training program and worked for research, property management, leasing and consulting teams, then as a debt/equity analyst within the capital markets group where she placed over $370 million of debt for ground-up development, acquisitions and refinances.
Merredith has a BS in Neuroscience from UCLA.
Heather Meyerdirk
Heather Meyerdirk is the leader of the Capital Formation team at DivcoWest. Along with capital formation, she also oversees ongoing investor partnerships, and new initiatives. Heather is also the portfolio manager for various DivcoWest accounts. She serves on the Executive and Operating Committees and is an Investment Committee member for various separate accounts. Before her current role, Heather spent more than six years on DivcoWest’s Acquisitions team.
Prior to joining DivcoWest in 2011, Heather worked at Deutsche Bank Securities in the Global Commercial Real Estate Group in New York, focusing on loan origination and commercial mortgage-backed securitization. Heather received a Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University.
Amy Price
Amy Price is president of BentallGreenOak (BGO). In her role, Amy also co-heads the firm’s U.S. Investment Management business and oversees its Canadian Investment Management and Real Estate Services businesses. Amy is a member of the Management Committee, chairs the U.S. Investment Committee for the firm’s core, core plus and separate account clients, and co-chairs the U.S. Management Committee. Amy also leads BGO’s equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) initiatives globally and chairs the firm’s EDI Leadership Council.
Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Amy was a managing director and head of real estate investing for the western U.S. at Morgan Stanley, where she was an Investment Committee member, and built the real estate investment management business in San Francisco. Amy also spent time in Morgan Stanley’s New York and Hong Kong offices.
Amy is a member of the Global Board of Directors of Urban Land Institute (ULI), a member of the Board of Directors and Chair Emeritus of NAREIM, and a member of the Board of Directors of AFIRE. She is also involved in philanthropic endeavors, as a member of the Board of Directors of the YMCA of San Francisco, the National Charity League with her daughter, and Service Corp with her son.
Amy holds an MBA with distinction from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and graduated magna cum laude from Colgate University.
