Emerging Trends in Real Estate is a trends and forecast publication with a 38-year history, and is the most highly- regarded and widely-read forecast report in the real estate industry. Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2018, undertaken jointly by PwC and ULI, provides an outlook on U.S. investment and development trends, real estate finance and capital markets, property sectors, metropolitan areas, and other real estate issues. The report draws on formal and informal surveys of real estate executives, investors, developers, and market experts around the U.S., including survey responses from over 1,500 real estate executives and personal interviews with over 350 industry leaders. Survey results relating to the san Francisco-Bay Area market will be included in the presentation.
This years presentation will feature Mitch Roschelle, the US National Practice Leader for PwC’s Real Estate Advisory Practice. As one of the co-founders of this practice, Mitch has over 25 years of experience serving a wide variety of real estate investors. He is a key advisor in matters dealing with real estate acquisition, development and disposition, restructuring, and the securitization of real estate assets. In addition, he leads PwC’s efforts in performing due diligence reviews on behalf of real estate investors, lenders and asset managers. Mitch is responsible for assisting clients worldwide with their investment activities. While he has broad exposure in all property types, he has specific experience with large resort developments, mixed-use projects, and condominium and cooperative housing projects.
