ULI San Francisco: DEI Spring Meeting 2026 Scholarship Application

ULI San Francisco (ULI SF) is excited to announce a scholarship opportunity to attend the 2026 ULI Spring Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee (May 5-7). This scholarship is offered as a part of ULI SF's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?
Eligible applicants include women, people of color, individuals with disabilities, and members of the LGBTQ+ community, many of whom are underrepresented in the land use and real estate industries. Applicants must be current ULI members (associate or full) associated with the ULI SF district council at the time of application. Applications from non-ULI SF members will not be reviewed.
Successful applicants demonstrate commitment to ULI SF through leadership roles, cohort participation, UrbanPlan volunteer history, and other methods of involvement.
Previous recipients of a ULI SF Fall or Spring Meeting scholarship, National Product Council members, and students are not eligible to apply for this opportunity. First-time attendees of a ULI Meeting will be prioritized.
WHAT DOES THIS SCHOLARSHIP INCLUDE?
This scholarship will cover in-person registration to the Spring Meeting ($1425+ value) and travel reimbursement up to $1500 for airfare, lodging, and transportation. Awardees will be expected to participate in Spring Meeting sessions focusing on ULI's DEI initiatives, submit a one-page summary of their experiences, connections, and takeaways from the Meeting to our DEI Committee, and join a DEI Committee meeting to present briefly on their experience. The one-page summary and all itemized receipts for airfare, lodging, and transportation reimbursements are due to ULI SF staff by May 31, 2026. Reimbursements will be processed by ULI staff after the Meeting. Failure to provide any of the requested materials by May 31, 2026 may result in forfeiture of reimbursement for up to $1500. The presentation to the DEI Committee must occur by September 30, 2026.
Applications for this opportunity are due by 11:59 PM PDT on Monday, February 16, 2026. Applicants will be notified on the status of their application by Friday, March 6 and awardees will be highlighted in a Spring ULI SF newsletter.
Completed submissions are eligible for consideration. Please be prepared to submit this application in a single sitting; there will be no option to save your progress.
