If fashion trends and the entertainment industry are in a constant mission of reinvention then why shouldn’t real estate?  Retail is not dead! 1980’s average box retail is out and the evolution has begun. Retail is going through a strategic repositioning movement in the industry. Cities are facing various challenges like replacing vacant anchor boxes and managing expectations of multiple stakeholders (both public and private). Our panelists will take you through a worldwide synopsis history of retail to current trends upending this industry. We will then take you through an exploration on a more local level reviewing implementation strategies and the true meaning of what it takes today to be a thriving retailer, with case studies throughout the globe. In the same way that bell-bottoms and movie icons reinvent their image, a revolution of retail has begun and it’s making a debut you won’t want to miss.
