When it comes to housing reform, we have seen major reboots to housing policies and programs over the past few years. Despite major progress, are we focusing too much on “fixing the bugs” and not achieving critical updates to the underlying system?
This panel will take a deep dive into how statewide legislation has changed the housing landscape since 2017, what has been the impact on the ground from landmark housing bills like SB 35, and what to expect in 2020.
This event is part of ULI SF's Housing the Bay Initiative, culminating in our 3rd annual Housing the Bay Summit on June 2nd.
Speakers:
- Matt Regan, Senior Vice President, Public Policy, Bay Area Council (Moderator)
- Michael Ghielmetti, Founder and President, Signature Development Group
- Denise Pinkston, Partner, TMG Partners
- Geeta Rao, Deputy Director, Enterprise Community Partners
