Join ULI SF Programs Committee for a unique opportunity to hear first-hand from the developers of Pier 70 on the past, present and future of this massive long-planned redevelopment into a mixed-use complex comprising offices, shops, green space, and residential. Pier 70 site is the largest intact industrial complex west of the Mississippi, and notable for its role in the nation’s maritime history, supporting multiple war efforts, as well as in the evolution of industrial architecture in San Francisco.
We will tour Uber’s brand-new facility, housing its Advanced Technologies Group which is responsible for experimental, forward-thinking projects like self-driving cars, Uber Elevate, and JUMP, in the space that was once home to Bethlehem Shipbuilding. We will also walk into Building 12, a historic building destined for rehabilitation, and hear about the future vision for its revitalization.
Don’t miss the chance to see the site of San Francisco’s next Bayside Community, as it embarks on its decade-long schedule. Following the tour, you’ll have an opportunity to network over drinks at a lively nearby establishment, Triple Vodoo Brewery.
