In 2024, the City of Vacaville partnered with ULI San Francisco to seek expert guidance in revitalizing its downtown, aiming to make it a vibrant destination for residents and visitors, while addressing the challenges posed by Unreinforced Masonry (URM) buildings in the core. As part of a Technical Assistance Panel (TAP), ULI SF leveraged its expert membership base to form a panel of real estate and land use experts. In August, over the course of two intensive days, the panel engaged with city staff, toured key sites, interviewed stakeholders, deliberated on key issues, and presented recommendations to the City Council on August 13, 2024. After the publication of the final report, ULI SF is reconvening the TAP panelists and the City of Vacaville for this webinar presentation and discussion highlighting the TAP process, the findings, and the city's plans for implementing the recommendations on December 6, 2024.
ULI San Francisco invites you to join our panel and the City of Vacaville for a presentation on the report process, findings, and the city’s plan for implementing these recommendations. There will be a Q&A session with our panelists and the opportunity to learn how you can bring a TAP to your own city.
