UrbanPlan's Got Talent: A Battle for Bragging Rights - Year Two

The competition is back and bigger than ever! Join ULI San Francisco for the second annual UrbanPlan's Got Talent competition at Gensler's office.

What is UrbanPlan? UrbanPlan is a hands-on educational program that empowers students and community members to become active participants in the urban planning process. Through simulated projects, participants gain valuable insights into the complexities of development and learn how to create sustainable, equitable, and thriving communities.

This Year's Showdown: Watch as teams from ULI's Sustainability & Resilience and Young Leaders Group (YLG) committees face off against NEW challengers: student teams from UC Berkeley's Master of Real Estate Development + Design (MRED+D) plus Master of Urban Design (MUD) programs. Together, they'll transform the fictional Elmwood neighborhood into a thriving, sustainable community.

Competing teams will present their innovative plans at a mock City Council session. They'll battle it out with creativity, strategic thinking, and fresh perspectives as they strive to meet the demands of residents, developers, and the city. View the past presentations here!

6:45 PM - 7:15 PM: City Council Deliberation & Winner Announcements

7:15 PM - 7:30 PM: Continued Networking
