ULI San Francisco: Diversity Membership Fund Winter Application Deadline
Submit your application here before 11:59 PM PST on December 3, 2024 for consideration. All applications will be reviewed after the December 3 deadline. Successful applicants will pay a $65 application fee upon acceptance.
Please reach out to [email protected] with any questions.
The ULI San Francisco Diversity Membership Fund is designed to open opportunities within ULI to women, people of color, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community who are underrepresented in the land use and real estate fields.
This award-winning fund has provided over 50 diverse professionals with a discounted one-year Associate level ULI membership and a range of benefits. The fund will provide selected applicants with a range of benefits (program value is over $500): discounted one-year Associate-level ULI membership, pairing with a ULI SF Ambassador (an active ULI SF member volunteer), invitation to shadow a member of one of ULI SF’s many internal program committees (depending on experience and field), and a $40 stipend to attend ULI SF events. Successful applicants will pay a registration fee of $65. The most recent application cycle awarded 9 new memberships.
This fund is hosted by ULI SF’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee to promote the advancement of underrepresented individuals as real estate and land use professionals in their careers and as leaders in the industry. In alignment with ULI SF’s DEI initiatives, the Diversity Membership Fund was created to reduce barriers to entry to ULI and to offer greater access to ULI’s expansive networks of professionals and career resources. Recipients of the funds will be encouraged to become active volunteers and hope for them to become life-long members of ULI.
PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES
Throughout their year of membership, individuals awarded membership through the Diversity Membership Fund are expected to:
- Become trained volunteers for our UrbanPlan Program.
- Volunteer alongside other ULI members in at least 1 UrbanPlan classroom or workshop.
- Attend at least 3 ULI SF.

The ULI SF Diversity Membership Fund is designed to increase the participation of women, people of color, and members of the LGBTQIA+ Community who may be underrepresented in the land use and real estate industries.
