    Hamid Moghadam

    Prologis

    Hamid Moghadam is Co-Founder, CEO and Chairman of Prologis. In 1983, Mr. Moghadam co-founded the company's predecessor, AMB Property Corporation, and led it through its initial public offering in 1997, as well as its merger with Prologis in 2011. Mr. Moghadam is a trustee emeritus of Stanford University and currently serves on the boards of Stanford Management Company (former Chair), Stanford Health Care and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Previously, he served as a trustee and as a member on the board’s executive committee for the Urban Land Institute, Chairman of NAREIT and REITPAC, and as a member of several other philanthropic, community, and corporate boards. Mr. Moghadam received the 2013 Ernst & Young National Entrepreneur of the Year Overall Award and is a recipient of the Ellis Island Medal of Honor. He has been named CEO of the Year and received multiple lifetime achievement awards from leading publications and industry organizations, including Harvard Business Review, which in their latest rankings, voted him as the #17 Best Performing CEO in the world. Mr. Moghadam received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor and Master of Science in engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

    Melinda Ellis Evers

    Co-Founder and Managing Principal, Ellis Partners LLC

    Melinda Ellis Evers is a Co-Founder and Managing Principal of Ellis Partners, one of the leading commercial real estate developers and investors in the San Francisco Bay Area. Ms. Evers’ primary responsibilities are to formulate and oversee company strategy and operations as well as lead capital raising for the firm. Melinda started her real estate career with A.R. Jarvis & Company, a regional mortgage brokerage firm, and spent seven years in acquisitions and portfolio management with Grubb & Ellis Realty Advisers prior to the founding of Ellis Partners. Ms. Evers holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She is a Member of Lambda Alpha, the Urban Land Institute, the Stanford Professionals in Real Estate, the Policy Advisory Board of the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics and serves as the co-head of the fundraising committee for the PREA Foundation. Ms. Evers is a guest lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and serves as a mentor to young women across the industry. Ms. Evers’ past board affiliations include The Foundation for San Francisco’s Architectural Heritage, Bay Area Mortgage Association, Homeless Prenatal Program, San Francisco Day School, The Seneca Funds and Safe and Sound. She is currently a board member of The UCSF Foundation Investment Company.

    Alex Mehran

    Chairman of the Board, Sunset Development Company

    Alex Mehran was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mr. Mehran grew up in Diablo and attended local elementary and high schools. He graduated from Harvard College with honors and continued his higher education at Cambridge University in England where he earned a Law Degree, also with honors. After completing his formal education, Mr. Mehran joined J. P. Morgan of New York where, for three years, he managed real estate companies and assets owned by the Bank. Mr. Mehran returned to California in 1977 to join Sunset Development Company, a diversified real estate organization founded by his father, Masud Mehran, in 1951. Sunset Development Company is the developer of Bishop Ranch in San Ramon, located in southern Contra Costa County. Bishop Ranch is a 585-acre, fully integrated business community with nine and one-half million square feet of office, hotel, shopping, medical and research facilities providing employment for approximately 30,000 people working in over 550 companies. Sunset also is the developer of Sunset-Town in Livermore, a planned community of over 4,000 homes, 500 apartments and some one-half million square feet of leasable space built by Sunset. Mr. Mehran is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Sunset Development Company. Mr. Mehran is a member of the Board of Directors of the Presidio Trust, a Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, a Trustee of the San Francisco Ballet and Chairman of the Contra Costa Economic Partnership. He is also a Past Chairman and Current Executive Committee member of The Bay Area Council; Member of the Chancellor’s Associates of UCSF; Former Trustee of the Urban Land Institute; Former Trustee of St. Mary’s College; Former Trustee of the Episcopal Diocese of California; Former Trustee of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and Former Director of The United Way of the Bay Area.
