Capital Markets 101: Join ULI San Francisco for an exclusive Lunch-and-Learn with Lauren Young of PCCP. Lauren will provide an introductory overview of the debt and equity capital markets, including how commercial real estate projects and assets are ultimately financed, key players, and an update on current and future capital market trends. Learn the essentials of capitals markets and financial structures through the lens of both debt and equity providers as well as developers, and how those markets and structures influence investment strategies.
Lauren Young is a Partner and serves as Chief Risk Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at PCCP. Since joining PCCP in 2003, her responsibilities have included Head of Portfolio Management and Head of Equity Asset Management. Other responsibilities have included portfolio manager for two opportunistic commingled equity funds and four value-add equity joint ventures, as well as serving on the firm’s credit and workout committees. Prior to her corporate and management roles, Ms. Young focused on acquisitions, debt origination, and asset management, having originated equity, mezzanine, and senior debt transactions totaling more than $1.2 billion in commitments. Ms. Young received her A.B. in Economics magna cum laude from Harvard University and holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
