Have a burning question about what makes office-to-residential conversions work?
The ULI San Francisco Programs Committee is presenting a special opportunity to learn directly from the developers and designers of 100 Van Ness as leaders from both Emerald Fund and SCB will walk and talk with ULI members on a private tour through the building.
Originally erected as a concrete clad office building in 1974, 100 Van Ness began its conversion process to a multi-family residential high-rise in 2010. Completed in 2015, the project has won numerous awards, including:
-
2015 ENR Best of the Best Projects, Residential/Hospitality
-
2015 ENR Northern California Project of the Year
-
2015 ENR California Best Project, Residential/Hospitality
-
2015 San Francisco Business Times – Real Estate Deals of the Year, Rehab/Renovation
As the discourse around office conversions continues to gain momentum on the local and national stages, 100 Van Ness is a prominent case-study for how such a project can become real.
Thank you to Jane Lee, Stephanie Ting, and Jesse Tejeda for organizing this event!
