YLG Volunteer Day 2017
For the second year in a row, YLG will help with beautification projects at the Ella Hill Hutch Community Center. Volunteer Day is an annual tradition where members of ULI SF’s YLG demonstrate their dedication to service and the community. At the event, YLG members will pitch in with landscaping, painting, and placemaking projects. There will be lunch at the event as well as a celebratory happy hour when the work is complete. It is guaranteed to be a fun-filled day with friends, old and new!
Ella Hill Hutch Community Center is named after former supervisor Ella Hill Hutch, the first African-American woman elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. The Ella Hill Hutch Community Center stands a testament to her legacy and commitment to community. The center has served as an anchor institution since its opening and over the years has been the space for job training, youth enrichment, and recreational activities.
This event is free of charge. Please follow this link to register.
