Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2019
Emerging Trends in Real Estate: How long can the party last?: Understanding the political and macroeconomic trends that will impact real estate in 2019.
Emerging Trends in Real Estate is an industry forecast publication with a 38-year history, and is the most highly-regarded and widely-read forecast report in the real estate industry. Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2019, undertaken jointly by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and ULI, provides an outlook on U.S. investment and development trends, real estate finance and capital markets, property sectors, metropolitan areas, and other real estate issues. The report draws on formal and informal surveys of real estate executives, investors, developers, and market experts around the U.S., including survey responses from over 1,500 real estate executives and personal interviews with over 350 industry leaders. Survey results relating to the San Francisco-Bay Area market will be included in the presentation.
Following the Emerging Trends presentation, BMWL, one of the Bay Area’s leading advocacy, strategic communications and public affairs consultancy will provide a recap of the local, state and national elections and highlight the initiatives and agendas that will impact commercial real estate.
A panel of experts will then discuss findings from both presentations, identify the key headwinds to growth (rising interest rates, low unemployment, growing inequality, trade disputes, etc) and set the stage for 2019.
