Peninsula UrbanPlan Training (Apply Now)
About UrbanPlan Training:
Your Spring 2018 opportunity to be trained as an UrbanPlan volunteer has come! Participate in one of the volunteer trainings on either January 26th or February 2nd and join the ranks of ULI UrbanPlan volunteers that have reached over 20,000 high school and university students across the country since 2003. Make an impact on the future of land use by attending a one-day training. It will prepare you to assist students who are learning the fundamentals of development and how market and non-market forces interact to create the built environment – providing the foundation required for any informed land use discussion. In order to volunteer in the classroom you must participate in the training.
If you are a ULI member with development project experience, the patience to question rather than advise, the time and willingness to learn the details of the UrbanPlan “case,” and are familiar with city council and/or planning commission meetings, you’re just who we are looking for!
The students depend on the generosity of our volunteers to help deliver a unique educational experience, which will empower their understanding of the built environment for years to come!
To be considered for Spring 2018 training opportunities, please submit an application and your resume by January 11th using the link below. If you do not have a LinkedIn profile please send your resume/cv to firstname.lastname@example.org for your application to be finalized. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
* There is no cost to attend the training.
