An Inside Look at the Moscone Center Expansion
Join ULI San Francisco for a discussion and hard hat tour as the Moscone Center undertakes a fourth expansion project. Completed in 1981 The Moscone Center is an iconic project that has undergone several expansions and transformations since its construction. The current $551 million dollar expansion will add over 300,000 square feet of functional space to the Moscone Center making it even more central to the City’s multi-billion dollar tourism industry.
Lynn Farzaroli, Senior Director of the San Francisco Tourism Improvement District & Moscone Expansion, and Brook Mebrahtu, Senior Project Manager of San Francisco Public Works, will shed light on the genesis, design, construction, and funding of the project.
Space for this tour is limited, don’t miss this members only opportunity for a look inside Moscone 4.0. This is a hard hat tour and participants will be required to wear long pants, boots, and the provided safety gear.
