The East Bay Programs Committee is excited to provide an exclusive tour of two recently-renovated projects in the red-hot Uptown Oakland district: The Leamington, a mixed-use renovation and conversion of an historic hotel into Uptown Oakland’s premier creative workplace; and the Latham Square building, a 15-story office high-rise that was recently converted into a modern and multifunctional office space. Please join us for a tour of these projects adjacent to the 19th Street BART station, and also learn how the Lake Merritt-Uptown Oakland Community Benefit District and other City agencies have assisted and interacted with the new projects coming online in Uptown.

Attendees will hear several different perspectives about these projects, and how the City of Oakland has encouraged the growth of Uptown Oakland and is dealing with the consequences of that explosive growth.

Following the tours, you’ll have an opportunity to network over drinks at a lively nearby establishment in Uptown Oakland.  Don’t miss out!

Savlan Hauser, Executive Director, Jack London Improvement District
