The final application deadline for the Chamberlin Graduate Student Fellowship is Friday, May 2, 2025, at 11:59 PM (PDT).
The ULI Chamberlin Fellowships were established by Steve and Susan Chamberlin of Chamberlin Associates to invest in the next generation of land use leaders. Endowed through the ULI Foundation, the Chamberlin Fellowships are intended to provide the highest level of exposure to ULI for emerging land-use professionals.
The Graduate Student Fellowship is open to individuals in their second year of studies in the Haas School of Business MBA program, pursuing the Real Estate Certificate, or the College of Environmental Design (CED). Students participating in the Master of Real Estate Development and Design Program are not eligible for this fellowship.
Fellowship recipients will be provided with opportunities to participate in ULI events and educational activities as full members, at a time when these experiences will have the greatest benefit in the formative years of their professional careers, for two years.
In addition to receiving the opportunity to be integrated into the vast ULI network of real estate professionals within ULI San Francisco, Fellows receive the following benefits:
• Two-year ULI Full Membership.
• Registration to attend ULI Spring and Fall Meetings for two years, including travel and lodging.
• Registration to one additional domestic ULI conference annually for two years, including travel and lodging.
• Admission to a national Product Council and its meetings and functions for two years.
• Access to a mentor who will advise and guide them through ULI and the profession.

ULI has 69 U.S. Product Councils, focusing on 33 areas of activity in development products, development processes, and international issues. Outside the Fellowship program, council participation is a key benefit available to ULI full members only. Product councils meet twice a year in conjunction with the Fall and Spring Meetings. To retain their council appointment, all council members must attend two out of three consecutive council meetings. See upcoming meeting dates here.
The Chamberlin Graduate Student Fellowship is made possible by an endowment funded by Stephen and Susan Chamberlin.
