Natalie Sandoval is Executive Director at the Urban Land Institute San Francisco (ULI SF) and has over 15 years of experience in real estate, economic development, urban planning, and landscape architecture. She has been with ULI SF since 2016 and a member of ULI since 2007.
Over the last seven years, she led all of the organization’s public sector work, was instrumental in launching and directing its Housing the Bay initiative and ULI’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion efforts, and has touched nearly all of its programmatic work during her tenure.
Natalie’s experience in the industry includes leadership positions around the country. Prior to joining ULI, she worked in the New York office of HR&A Advisors, an economic development and real estate consulting firm, as the Director of Marketing and Business Development. Prior to HR&A, she was the first Marketing and Business Development Manager for SWA Group, an international landscape architecture and urban design firm. Natalie received her MBA from the Presidio Graduate School and holds a BA from Bard College.

Teresa joined ULI San Francisco in August of 2023. As a manager, she leads the UrbanPlan program, a volunteer-driven initiative that engages high school students through a multi-week, classroom-based curriculum and community leaders through one-day, interactive workshops. She also co-leads the SF Programs Committee.
Teresa has over 15 years of experience in hospitality and event management, operations and facilities management, and sustainability. She has a proven track record of success in leading and managing teams, developing, and implementing strategic plans, and driving operational excellence. In her previous roles, she gained expertise in leadership, organizational management, sustainability practices, space planning, and resource management. Her recent work includes reopening facilities after the pandemic, such as the nearby Wharton School.
Teresa is passionate about using her skills and experience to improve communities and is actively engaged in ULI’s mission of shaping the future of the built environment.
Pooja Sharma

As a Manager, Pooja supports members, committees, and initiatives of ULI SF, mainly through her support of the Silicon Valley Programs, Housing the Bay, and Sponsorship committees. She also manages the Developers of Color Cohort Program.
Prior to ULI, Pooja worked with AvalonBay Communities as a community consultant at Avalon San Bruno. There, she gained valuable experience with property management in the Bay Area.
Pooja is a Bay Area native and graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Politics minor back in 2020. As an undergrad, she had the opportunity to intern at Heartsent Adoptions in Orinda and take on a coordinator role for a summer literacy program at the South San Francisco Public Library. She was also able to spend an academic year abroad in Seville, Spain through an international business and culture program.

Jacqueline joined ULI San Francisco in 2022 and has since led various initiatives and committees at ULI SF, including but not limited to Bay Area Programs, East Bay Programs, Gala, Local Product Councils, Member Engagement, NEXT, Sustainability, YLG, and the California-Nevada Technical Assistance Leadership Exchange.
Before relocating to the Bay Area, Jacqueline worked in the hospitality and events industries in Chicago and completed a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher training in her home state of Michigan.
Jacqueline attended the University of Michigan from which she holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in German and Program in the Environment, with a specialization in Environmental Health.

Claire joined ULI San Francisco in July 2025 as the Public Sector & Community Engagement Senior Associate. In this role, she leads key initiatives that deepen ULI SF’s impact across the Bay Area, including the Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI), Public-Private Partnership (P3) Local Product Councils, Technical Assistance Panels (TAPs), and UrbanPlan programming for both students and communities.
Claire brings a strong foundation in public policy, community engagement, and urban planning. Prior to joining ULI, she spent four years at the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C., serving in both the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration and the Bureau of Public Affairs and Diplomacy. Her work focused on international engagement, crisis response, and strategic communications.
Claire holds a Master’s in Urban and Public Affairs from the University of San Francisco, where her graduate work centered on transportation and housing equity in the Bay Area. She gained local policy experience as an intern on the Policy and Programming team at the San Francisco County Transportation Authority. Originally from Michigan, Claire earned her B.A. in Public and International Relations from Grand Valley State University.
Driven by a commitment to inclusive and sustainable cities, Claire is passionate about creating people-centered places that reflect the needs and aspirations of diverse communities.
Alexis Uzoh

Alexis is the Events and Membership Senior Associate at ULI San Francisco. In this role, she drives member engagement initiatives and spearheads the planning and execution of events that advance ULI’s mission.
Prior to joining ULI SF, Alexis served as the Transformative Communities Program Coordinator at Dream.Org, where she developed deep expertise in event planning, nonprofit operations, and project management. She also brings experience from the California Office of Civil Rights, where she co-developed and facilitated a training workshop and webinar on strategies to address implicit bias in the workplace.
Alexis holds a degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is passionate about amplifying community voices and is committed to supporting the preservation and creation of inclusive, community-centered spaces throughout the Bay Area.
Niyah Fambro

Niyah joined ULI in February 2025 as a Programs and Operations Associate. She will work closely with the ULI SF district council, supporting their members and initiatives. Specifically, Niyah will support the Young Leaders (Group YLG), Engagement, and UrbanPlan.
Niyah attended San Francisco State University, where she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in Ethnic Studies. In undergrad, Niyah worked as a Public programs intern with Gardens of Golden Gate Park. She gained invaluable experience connecting people to plants, plants to people, and people to the environment.
After graduating college, Niyah backpacked through Europe where she fell in love with urban design and cities built for people. She is passionate about creating a world that honors the environment and our rich history by fostering sustainable development that respects and preserves the natural world for future generations.
